Increasing numbers of owner-occupiers and developers now choose to procure new buildings on a Design and Build basis.

Morris Dean acts as Employers Agent on these projects. On behalf of the client, we ensure the building is constructed fully in accordance with the employer’s requirements and agreed budget.

Key Elements of the Service:

Pre-Contract Services

• Take clients brief
• Prepare draft proposals and obtain planning consents
• Prepare detailed employers requirements document
• Secure contractors proposals by way of select competitive tendering from design & build specialists
• Report to client

Post-Contract Services

• Administer contract
• Certify monthly or stage payments to contractor
• Monitor progress and quality of works on site
• Arrange hand over
